I wonder what was going through God’s mind when He began creating the world. When he finally said, “Okay. The time has come. I’m going to begin this love story!” I love how the story begins with God creating US. He made this world we live in. He knew each person that would be born in this earth and what each one would do (Ps 139:16). He knew exactly where His son would be crucified. He made it all. He didn’t just find us and want to save us. He chose to make us. And the most amazing part of it all is that he formed us in His image (Gen. 1:26-27). He thinks we are special enough to be made in His likeness. The one thing I want you to get from this post is this: God’s doesn’t only love you but he also likes you. He likes your personality, your laugh, every detail about you.
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! and when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:18-19 (NLT)
God is not only your Savior and authority but also your friend. He wants to know you. He longs to laugh, cry, and smile with you. He longs to be with just you, His beloved creation.
